It all started with two best friends in the basement of a bar in Richmond, Kentucky making products for their friends and family as well as renovating their bar to begin a journey that they never saw coming. Crafting items as small as bottle stoppers, cutting boards, to dining room tables and outdoor swings, a fun hobby of wood working rapidly turned into a fiery passion that consumed them. The lumber that is used in our products are locally sourced in sustainable ways from trees that have fallen from natural causes. We also use all natural finishes that are food safe, solvent free, and easy to maintain.
After the two friend’s knowledge grew in the art of woodcraft they merged their wood shop with a local artisan who primarily produces goods for a couple of the well-known distilleries in Kentucky. Keeping true to our roots and the name Tipsy Timbers we began making bourbon related products and our craftsmanship has continued to develop. Although our story started just three years ago we continue to stay hungry and are constantly developing new products and skills to further our future in hand made American craftsmanship and to produce the best products for our patrons.
